The Priests THE PRIESTS Three priests from Northern Ireland, Father Eugene O’Hagan and his brother, Father Martin and Father David Delargy, recorded this selection of fourteen sacred songs. The Priests, two tenors and a baritone, supported by the Choir of the Philharmonic Academy of Rome, recorded the album in St Peter’s Basilica. Tracks include: Ave Maria, Pie Jesu, Panis Angelicus, Abide with Me and Irish Blessing. The Priests have been featured on PBS and their album has been “top of the charts” around the world. |

Sing Me an Irish Song RONAN TYNAN The great Irish tenor and entertainer, Ronan Tynan, has recorded a brand new album This is Ronan’s first CD with all Irish songs. The unique orchestral introduction of the opening track, Ride On sets the tone for this album. In addition to the tenor favourites like Will Ye Go Lassie Go and Danny Boy, he does a brilliant performance of the country-folk song, Homes of Donegal. Patriotic favourites on the album include: Grace, Only Our Rivers Run Free and Fields of Athenry. Ronan’s voice is inspiring and the orchestration perfectly matches it. |

ANDY COONEY Andy is best known for his work with his own band performing popular Irish ballads, but he also spent five years as a Country and Western songwriter. From that era come guest stars Crystal Gayle and Larry Gatlin. Songs include: It’ll Be Me, Emigrant Eyes, Lady of Knock and You Were Never Too Far from My Mind (duet with Crystal). Lately Andy has been performing songs from the classic tenor repertoire and this album contains: You Raise Me Up, The Holy City (Jerusalem) and How Great Thou Art. Ronan Tynan and the RTE Concert Orchestra also guest on the album, which has a Stephen Foster tribute. |
